Twenty five years ago today, Super Mario Bros. for the original NES was released in Japan. Since then, our friend Mario has appeared in a multitude of games from traditional 2d platformers, to rpgs, puzzle games, sports games, party games, and fully 3d platform games. The video above is a recap of all of the main Mario platformers over the years. It is a pretty neat trip down memory lane. The real Super Mario Bros. 2 (Lost Levels here in the states) is in there too, with the American cop-out version getting a brief mention as well.
